Victoya Venise is an avid SupportHER of many organizations and people throughout New York City. She has had the pleasure of performing with Green Earth Poets Cafe to support Senator Jessie Hamilton and politician Shirley Patterson. Green Earth Poets Cafe has allowed her to reach out and recite spoken word to inmates on Riker’s Island as well as local Brownsville youth at the Brownsville Heritage House. She believes that if we don’t support US who will. Brownsville not only blessed her with a place to call home but a new family as well. Greatful of everything it has given her she gives back by giving a piece of herself. Once on a month on Saturdays she volunteers with an organization named Karma based in the East New York area of Brooklyn. It’s a mentoring program for young girls ages 9-13 that was introduced to her by Tati Amaure, host of BK Live. B.R.I.C She has performed and numerous Open Mics like Fun Day Sun Day and Spoken Word and Coffee. Check out Victoya’s Sister Circles and tune in Saturday, June 27th, 2015 1-3pm on Bondfire Radio to hear more!
